Our Guiding Values

  • The standard you walk past is the standard you accept.

Sometimes we don’t intentionally walk past a behaviour that isn’t acceptable, we just aren’t fully present and aware so for me it means being present in the moment

  • Play what’s in front of you

Playing ‘eyes up footy’ (NRL term). You have set plays you train for but in a game environment things can change very quickly and you have to be aware of what’s unfolding, be agile and ready to adapt. Being brave and trusting my gut, staying curious and empathetic so that I can look at the situations from the other person/peoples point of view.

  • The whole is greater than the sum of it’s parts

We can’t do it on our own. This means asking questions, seeking advice, letting go of mental models and embracing new perspectives.

  • Believe in the best, prepare for the worst.

Starting from a place where we believe the best in people and situations. Being empathetic and curious to see things differently but being prepared and ready to adapt if things go south.

  • Don’t be afraid to sit in the dark.

This means not trying to solve the problem straight away or jump straight into everything is fine just be happy. Being brave enough to sit in the dark and feel your emotions so that you can process them, learn from them and move forward completely.

  • Never stop asking questions.

Stay curious, go into every conversation with wonder and not with preconceptions. Making sure we approach environments from the perspective of getting it right as opposed to being right.
