WHO IS REVOLVE ATHLETIC?

At Revolve Athletic we consider every staff member involved part of the team. Head Coach and CEO, Kurt Vogel works with coaches, allied health professionals, academics, and students all across the world and each person makes a contribution to the success of each athlete. Revolve Athletic contracts over 30 different coaches across Australia to elevate the semi-professional sporting environment. The operational team for Revolve Athletic is:

Kurt has been working in elite sport science for over a decade. He has formulated his athlete-centric ideals after working across over 20 different sports; both individual and team, at amateur to elite and professional. Kurt continually upskills on top of working to improve the athletic performance space. Some of his highest level qualifications are:

He has been and is currently involved in multiple research projects, including:

  1. Monitoring training load in classical ballet using inertial measurement units

  2. Physiological and wellness factors correlating with the onset of injury in professional contemporary dancers

  3. Respiratory fatigue and reactive oxygen species in simulated COPD

  4. Investigation into intra-abdominal pressure and neuromuscular activation of pelvic and abdominal musculature in traditional martial arts practitioners

  5. Relationships between the different phases of the menstrual cycle and maximal strength in female team sport athletes

With a background in start-ups and sports tech, Nikita has been a pivotal figure in the growth and success of many companies translating initial traction into sustainable growth. Specialising in commercial strategy, Nikita has played a key role in securing significant funding rounds, launching several technology products, and acquiring a professional basketball team, showcasing an ability to drive efficiency and scale in diverse settings.

Nikita is deeply entrenched in the sports industry, demonstrated by her role as overseeing Queensland for Australian Sports Technology Network, driving operations and culture and leadership with Revolve Athletic and her collaborative work with national and international sports organisations such as Ministry of Sport, University of Texas and Basketball Australia. Her efforts in developing strategies and consulting for professional and semi-professional sports clubs underscore a profound understanding of the challenges and opportunities facing the sporting landscape.
